This winter season has been hectic to say the least. I’ve been busy painting and reworking my studio, (adding insulation and other odds and ends). First, I would like to say I am starting the new year off with a group show exhibit at the Glave Kocen Petite Gallery in Richmond, VA that runs until February 3rd!
Here’s a review of the work in the show!
Also of note: I’ve been remodeling the studio and have been hard at work making it a more streamlined place to paint. I needed to do some electrical work had some extra wood, so during the holiday break I began to insulate the garage so that when I ran the space heater, it kept the heat in and the cold out better. It rained so much, most of the cutting and work had to be done with the garage door closed. It felt like Tetris, I’m not all the way done yet, but it’s functional again and work is getting made!
Also of note: I’ll be going LIVE on YouTube this coming Sunday at 8PM EST. painting a nocturne scene with oil paint. Join along as I paint and share ideas and concepts that I use in my progress. Click the image to watch.
Well friends, that is all for now, I hope you stay warm during this arctic freeze!
Happy New Year!
